We do not collect any data from you. All your medication information is stored locally on your device. We don't have servers, we don't collect analytics, we don't track usage, and we don't have access to your data. That's it.

PillHub ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our medication reminder and tracking application.

Key Point: We do not collect, transmit, or store your data on any servers. Everything stays on your device.

By using PillHub, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Data You Provide

PillHub is designed with privacy in mind. The following information is stored locally on your device:

• Medication Information: Medication names, dosages, schedules, and instructions

• Dose Records: When medications were taken, missed, or scheduled

• Inventory Information: Medication stock levels and refill dates

• User Preferences: Notification settings, appearance preferences, and adherence goals

• Profile Information Optional profile photo (stored locally on your device)

Data Collection Philosophy

We do NOT collect, transmit, or store your personal health information on our servers. All data you enter into PillHub remains on your device or in your personal iCloud account (if you have iCloud enabled).

**We do not automatically collect any information.**

Apple may collect anonymized usage analytics (crash reports, performance data) if you have enabled "Share Analytics" in your iOS Settings, but:

• This is controlled by you in iOS Settings

• It is completely anonymized by Apple

• We do not receive or access any of this data

• It is subject to Apple's privacy policy, not ours

How We Use Your Information

All information stored in PillHub is used solely for:

• Core Functionality: Providing medication reminders and tracking your adherence

• Analytics Features: Calculating adherence scores, streaks, and statistics (processed locally on your device)

• Notifications: Sending medication reminders and alerts (processed locally)

• Widget Functionality: Displaying medication information on your home screen

• Live Activities: Showing real-time reminders in Dynamic Island and Lock Screen

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

All your medication data is stored locally on your iOS device using SwiftData. This data is:

• Encrypted at rest by iOS device encryption

• Never transmitted to our servers

• Under your control - you can delete it at any time through the app

iCloud Backup

If you have iCloud Backup enabled, your PillHub data may be included in your device's automatic iCloud backup. This is:

• Encrypted by Apple's iCloud encryption

• Private to your Apple ID - we do not have access to your iCloud backups

• Optional - you can disable iCloud Backup in your iOS Settings

Export Feature

Premium users can export their data as CSV files. This export:

• Contains only your medication data (no other personal information)

• Remains on your device - you choose where to save it

• We do not have access to exported files

Third-Party Services

Apple Services

PillHub uses the following Apple services for core functionality:

• App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases

• iCloud For optional device backups (if enabled by user in iOS Settings)

• StoreKit For processing premium subscription purchases (handled entirely by Apple)

• WidgetKit For home screen widgets (data processed locally)

• ActivityKit: For Live Activities (Dynamic Island and Lock Screen, data processed locally)

• UserNotifications: For local push notifications (scheduled and processed locally on your device)

Important: We do not receive, collect, or have access to any data from these Apple services. All processing happens locally on your device or is handled entirely by Apple.

No Other Third Parties

PillHub does not use:

- Advertising networks

- Analytics services (beyond Apple's anonymized analytics)

- Social media integrations

- Third-party data storage services

- Marketing or tracking tools

Premium Subscriptions

If you purchase a Premium subscription:

• Payment Processing: Handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit

• Subscription Data: Managed by Apple; we only receive anonymized purchase verification

• Subscription Status: Stored locally on your device (premium status only, no payment details)

• We do not store: Credit card information, billing addresses, or any payment details

Your Rights and Choices

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is stored on your device and accessible within the app

• Modification: You can edit or delete any medication or dose information at any time

• Deletion: You can delete all data using the "Clear All Data" option in Settings

• Export: Premium users can export their data as CSV files

• Backup Control: You can enable or disable iCloud Backup in iOS Settings

Children's Privacy

PillHub is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete such information.

Data Retention

• While Using the App: Data is stored on your device as long as you use the app

• After Deletion: When you delete the app or clear data, information is removed from your device

• iCloud Backups: If enabled, data may persist in iCloud backups until you delete them

We do not retain any data on our servers after app deletion.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

- Posting the new Privacy Policy on this page

- Updating the "Last Updated" date

- Notifying you through the app (for significant changes)

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

Medical Disclaimer

PillHub is a medication reminder and tracking tool only. It is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or replacement for professional medical advice. Always consult with healthcare providers for medical decisions. We are not responsible for medication errors or health outcomes.

International Users

If you are using PillHub from outside the United States, please be aware that:

- Data is stored locally on your device in your country

- iCloud backups (if enabled) are subject to Apple's international data policies

- We comply with applicable data protection laws

California Privacy Rights

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Since we do not collect, sell, or share personal information (all data stays on your device), these provisions may not apply, but we respect your right to:

- Know what personal information is collected (answer: none on our servers)

- Delete personal information (you can delete all app data anytime)

- Opt-out of data sharing (we don't share data)
